Too much good fruit was being thrown away before it ever reached a shopper. Too many hard-working growers were getting squeezed on price for the beautiful produce they'd nurtured all season.
So we built a shorter road. We back local farmers, pay them promptly and fairly, and get their fruit onto local shelves while it's still at its peak — in punnets, at your servo, ready to grab on the way home.
